Yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssss. I have solved the problem of Jeff Buckley Man*. Move one lend him a new cd Tim Buckley to be exact. Then synch the job of by pulling the young chick actually knows about music card thus embarrassing him because I’m not a brain less bimbo like he thinks.
Today is a truly momentous day *punches fist in air * * Jeff Buckley man sits in a cubical diagonally opposite me and insists on playing grace 4-5 times a day. Now don’t get me wrong, I like a bit of Buckley as much as the next person. But hearing grace on repeat at 9 in the morning does not exactly bring a cheery start to the day. And it is kind of spoiling Grace for me. : (

I just ate a tiny mars bar cheese cake, it was strange and delicious

Jeebers creebers I just saw the hugest spinach and ricota pastry triangle. it was about the size of an a4 piece of paper. I wanted to eat it but i was full of hot chips and sauce : (

Recipy for Bad day reversal Take one: 15 nap in the sun on your lunch break 1 small bag of hot chips with sauce(tomato) 1 Bottle of V 1 nice comment about your You Am I Scarf that makes you feel all cool and stuff
Went to Syd on the weekend with The Ashbury boys and lovely Rose, we had a fantastic time it was very relaxing just hanging around and going to the gig. The boys played at the Vanguard with Ice Cream Hands. The Vanguard is a very strange venue, it’s a little like Tillys but smaller and it has a second level that you can sit and watch from if your not eating dinner, I think it use to be an old cabaret theatre or something.
Rose and I were a bit worried because it was a very different kind of audience, compared to the kind The Ashburys usually play too, but it all went great. Ice Cream hands were fantastic to watch and are all lovely chaps. Rose and I discovered a new kind of tequila it is called Rose tequila so we had to try some, it is kind of milky like baileys and tastes like strawberry milk mixed with rose water mixed with tequila. Sounds kind of eww but it was very tasty. Will post some cool pics soon : )

I started to make a led hula hoop last night. I learnt two very important facts: 1. Never sneeze with a soldering iron in your hand.(especially if it has molten solder on it) It will flick all over your hand and leg. 2. Don't start electronic projects late in the night when your brain is dead because you will spend 2 hours trying to figure out why things aren’t working. Then you will realise that for some silly reason you attached both the positive and negative leads of the battery to the switch and your battery is about to implode and begins to leak acid.

Well the good news is I finally have a rough idea of when this foot related hell will be over, the bad news is it involves another 6 weeks on crutches. I go in for surgery on the 15th of august Just after my birthday (hint hint : p ). This is the gross sounding part, they are going to cut my foot open in two places once over my break and the other in my heel. Then they are going to take a teeny chunk of bone from my heel and graft it to the foot bone. Then last of all they are going to put a big huge pin in it to hold it all together while it heals. I’m a little scared because I have only had real non dental related surgery one other time, I was four so I don’t really remember that. Oh and when I was 5 I had a general anaesthetic so they could set my femur bone when I broke that. So other than those which I don’t really remember I don’t really know what to expect. I’m sure it will all be fine, at least I get a week off work to laze around and get better. Yay !! Oh and I’m going to take some overlocker classes while my foot is getting better so when I’m done I’ll be a costuming fiend.

Went to The Venue for the first time last night. I was impressed by the set up and the nice looking stage, very professional. I was also excited to get the chance to see three Canberra bands that I really enjoy.
But that is about where the enjoyment stopped. I was utterly appalled at the quality of mixing it was disrespectful, to the bands that played and to the local music scene in general. I’m usually not too fussy about the mix but this was disgusting. I can safely say that it was the most pathetic attempt at mixing I have heard EVER, hands down. It seemed that not only had the sound guy not ever mixed a show before but he had not even been to a live gig. I have heard better mixes in a garage with tiny PA. The Venue, I applauded your booking of local acts but if you are not going to give them the chance to actually sound good I don’t really see the point. Too top off the night there were staff members smoking in the gig room. If everyone else can manage to drag themselves outside in to the cold for a cigarette I’m sure you can too.
Well last night was good fun. I was expecting to just head home and hang around doing not much all night. But instead we (John and I) went down the pot belly for a quite beer with Sam which then turned into going back to Sam’s to get some records and then spending an hour teaching Alex some Poi moves in the freezing cold. It was all very fun especially the Poi part, that was the best. Also Alex picked up the poi moves very quickly, usually it takes a lot longer for people to get use to the way they move, I was very impressed. I’m of to medi-care now to hope fully get some monies back from all of my busted foot appointments, Fingers crossed : ).

Sheesh Canberrans are so wussie. Every one is like "we need some rain" or "i hope it rains soon" or some thing like that. Now if you look outside at the people walking around you would think that it were raining acid or some thing. They are all huddled under there umberellas for the two second walk between buildings or hiding under jackets or some thing. It's just water people it is not going to melt the skin of your body if your in it for a couple of seconds. *rant over*

Well I didn't get the good news that I was hoping for, the doctor wants me to wait a whole month longer before getting the surgery. It kind of makes sense because there is a chance that it won't work. But it really annoyed me, I don't think either of my doctors take me seriously when I refer to circus training and how strong I need to be and how many important training things I'm missing, I mean if i were a football player or some thing they would have listened and did what they could to get me back training as fast as possible. They would not even tell me what I could and could not do, so I don't know what things I can train or what things are to risky. I decided to at least have a little go a some hooping today because i could not handle it any longer, I mostly did arm tricks but I did get a trick that I have been trying to learn for ages. I nailed the one shoulder duck out like in this video. oh I just found out that the pot belly has been sold, I hope it stays the fantastic little pub that it always has been. We have so many great memory's and story's from that great little place plus it was the first pub I ever went to when I turned 18.

Well i went to the doctor on Tuesday. I would post another interesting x-ray but unfortunately it would be a bit boring because it looks exactly like the last one. Yeah that right the bones have not moved at all : ( Looks like I’m gonna have surgery on it soon. Well i hope i can get in soon because I’m going mad not being able to train.
